Not only have we sourced a huge variety of very special items for your wedding, wherever possible we’re committed to sourcing them locally, ethically, and inexpensively.

We recognise that craftsmanship and skill has little to do with marketing clout - so we’re committed to finding the best Nelson providers and bringing them to your attention. If we can’t get it in Nelson, we’ll try and find it in New Zealand before we look overseas.

Cheap imports often come with a hidden price tag. The Corner Store chooses to buy from known ethical suppliers wherever possible.
Brands like Parasoul, Caterpillar Dreaming, and Micah Clothing have a personal relationship with the workers who create their products, and a commitment to paying a fair wage for their work. Sometimes that means the products cost us a little more money, but we think it’s worth it.

Fair Trade is an ideal we embrace overseas AND here at home - so our everyday prices are as low as possible.
You’ll seldom see a SALE sign in the window, because our prices are already as low as we can make them - often our prices are lower than the supplier’s own local retail outlet!
